Multi-million dollar grant will
transform fluid power research and education
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced a $15 million five-year contract to support the new
Engineering Research Center
for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP). NSF funding will be augmented by $3 million from universities and $3 million from industry.
This is a dramatic accomplishment for fluid power in the United States since work within the
CCEFP will have a profound impact on research and education.
