Announcing the 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Status of the NFPA Education and Technology Foundation
We are pleased to announce the NFPA Education and Technology Foundation has
received its
501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service. This establishes that donations to the Foundation are completely tax deductible as charitable contributions.
As you know, the fluid power industry is facing a critical shortage of skilled workers. Our Foundation is focused on expanding the research and education necessary to reverse this disturbing trend, and thereby ensuring a workforce well prepared to meet the future needs of the industry, its many customers and users.
The Foundation has identified a vision for the future and set an action plan to achieve it. This vision depicts a world in which:
- Educational institutions push fluid power’s envelope through ground-breaking research and translate those discoveries into content and curricula.
- Qualified fluid power engineers apply this technology to a whole new range of problems and applications.
- Fluid power is fully integrated into the public’s awareness and the importance of their daily lives.
- The fluid power industry is strong, vibrant and self-sustaining as it provides transformative effects in our world and our society.
The details of this plan are described in the PDF brochure. We would encourage you to review it, and to join us in making a tax deductible donation today.
