NFPA Gift Program for fluid power projects

NFPA is committed to finding ways to develop a better understanding of motion control through fluid power. That's why the association offers a funding program in support of projects that engage students in actively learning about hydraulics and pneumatics.

Examples of supported activities at middle school, high school, technical college, and university undergraduate and graduate programs:

  • Student activity-based learning

  • Senior capstone projects

  • Curricula development by faculty

  • Development of teaching tools (e.g., textbooks, software programs, training stations)

  • Student competitions

  • Graduate student stipends

  • Travel stipends for students giving papers at academic conferences

  • Faculty and student participation in NFPA summits
