NFPA Education and Technology Foundation
We have a vision…
a vision of the world in which:
Educational institutions push fluid power’s envelope
through ground-breaking research and translate
those discoveries into content and curricula.
Qualified fluid power engineers apply this technology
to a whole new range of problems and applications.
Fluid power is fully integrated into the public’s
awareness and the importance of their daily lives.
The fluid power industry is strong, vibrant and self-sustaining
as it provides transformative effects in our world and our society.
The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization that supports educational programs and research in fluid power.
The Foundation raises money from individuals, institutions and corporations interested in supporting its purpose, and oversees a grant program designed to achieve the following objectives:
Led by industry volunteers and administered by NFPA, the Foundation envisions a world in which fluid power provides
safe, clean and efficient energy for a multitude of transportation and power generation applications, dramatically decreasing our dependence on traditional sources of energy. In this world, there are increasing numbers of well-educated engineers, working to apply fluid power and other advancing technologies to this and other endeavors designed to better our society and the human condition.
