Innovating Leadership For an Accelerating World

Today’s business leaders are facing tough decisions. The business world is changing, and once reliable avenues for success are no longer working. The fluid power industry is both impacted by these changes and poised to take unique advantage of them.

The opening and expansion of international markets is shifting our industry’s priorities, since fluid power is a key component of all the infrastructure building and manufacturing automation going on around the world. This sustained growth is allowing continued investment in technology improvements that will provide greater diversification of our applications and open up entirely new customer markets. And this technological advancement is increasing the number of young engineers embracing fluid power as a vehicle for successful and rewarding careers.

This accelerating environment brings new leadership challenges for companies in the fluid power industry. Many of our member organizations are trying to balance a desire to invest in these new market and technological opportunities with the need to remain focused on their established customer and product lines.

What challenges are you facing in making sure your company embraces new technological opportunities and their emerging customer markets?

What questions do you have about the new global dynamics and their impact on your business and on business in general?

Who are the future leaders for your company and how can you make sure they are ready to lead in a world vastly different than the one that tested you?

And, perhaps most urgently, how can you get beyond all this stress and laugh more often?
