The 5th NFPA Educator/Industry Summit: A Successful and Powerful Combination

The NFPA 2007 Educator/Industry Summit held August 21-22, at the Westin Chicago North Shore brought together 16 top universities and technical schools represented by 50+ students and faculty together with fluid power industry leaders to explore new ideas and learn from presentations and interactive dialogues.

As an attendee of this event, you will find links on this page to the presentations you heard along with a few extra features. One of these extra links will take you to a summary of the comments received from your thoughtful dinner roundtables on the question of whether fluid power should pursue its own four-year university degree. For those of you who will to continue this discussion, we encourage you to log on to Hydraulics and Pneumatics magazine's Fluid Power Forums on this important subject. The link is also provided below.

We also appreciate all attendees’ support and feedback. All Summit participants should have already received a link to an electronic survey evaluation form. If not, you may complete it now using this link

Thank you for your support of NFPA and the fluid power industry!
