MAPI Resources for NFPA Members

NFPA has joined the Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI through a special, one-year research membership, beginning in April 2007.  The following resources are available to you as a benefit of NFPA’s membership in MAPI.

• Weekly MAPI electronic bulletins – commentary on economic, legal, and policy issues of interest to manufacturers. 
• Monthly Economic Update – included with every fourth weekly MAPI electronic bulletin, these brief web presentations include forecasts and commentary on economic trends. 
• Quarterly Industrial Outlook report – similar to NFPA’s Market Outlook Report (MOR), this macro-level economic report covers a series of markets directly related to the manufacturing sector and includes a forecast and commentary for each market.
• Quarterly Forecast of U.S. Exports, Global Growth, and the Dollar – This unique report presents analysis of activity in key regions and offers a forecast of global growth, the dollar, and total U.S. Exports.
• A choice of five additional publications normally available only to MAPI members.  NFPA staff will select these publications with assistance from NFPA members.  Anyone interested in helping with selection can contact Eric Armstrong (earmstrong@nfpa.com) or Pete Alles (palles@nfpa.com).

In addition, NFPA MEMBERS can purchase additional MAPI publications at a price normally reserved for members of MAPI.  All you have to do is browse the MAPI website (www.mapi.net) for the publications you want, and place your order with MAPI by phone (703-841-9000), indicating your NFPA membership.
