Do you have a stake in the fluid power industry? If yes, you can register to vote on final standards action items (approval of new standards; reaffirmation, revision or
withdrawal of existing standards). Persons with an interest in fluid power include:
• Manufacturers of fluid power components and/or systems
• Distributors of fluid power products, or integrators of fluid
power systems
• Suppliers of parts or materials that become part of a fluid power
component
• Users of fluid power components and/or systems, either in the
products they manufacture for their customers, or through the machinery they use
in the manufacturing, transport, packaging or material handling process. This
category may also include representatives from trade or professional
associations that serve the users of fluid power
• General Interest: Includes, but is not limited to, representatives
from universities or technical schools offering fluid power courses and/or
conducting industry-related research, government agencies with an interest in
fluid power, and consultants to the fluid power industry
You do not have to be on a standards development committee or
be an NFPA member to participate and receive ballots.
Persons registered for a ballot list will receive
ballots periodically via mail or electronic means. They will have 45 days to
review each ballot item and related documents, and cast a vote.
