Increase sales and prioritize the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales results.
Responsible for sales performance in assigned geographic area.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical knowledge of applications, features, advantages and benefits.
Obtain specifications and approvals at the engineering firms and major accounts targeted on an annual basis to result in sales opportunities or increased sales.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the competitive products and their activity in the market place and provide a report, on a monthly basis.
Actively promote sale of products to target accounts and new construction opportunities.
Motivate and provide sales direction and technical support to distributors. Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to company.
Actively support the company's programs and policies.
Assume an unofficial leadership role among peers.
B.S. in Engineering and five years sales and/or other related experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
PC skills a plus.
Must be willing and able to travel.
