James E. Mohrhauser, who served as NFPA’s chairman of the board from 1976-77, passed away on August 9, 2012 at the age of 90.  Jim began his career with Racine Hydraulics and later co-founded Versa Technologies Inc. 

Gates Corporation was presented with the Friends of NACAT award by the North American Council of  Automotive Teachers (NACAT) at the organization’s July conference in Tyler, TX. The annual award is given to a company that is active in supporting NACAT in its mission to promote, update, and improve automotive service education.

Kaman Corporation has completed the acquisition of all assets and certain liabilities of Zeller Corporation.

Pall Corporation has announced that seasoned executive Vince Northfield has joined the company as President of Pall Aerospace and Senior Vice President, Pall Corporation. Mr. Northfield will succeed 19-year Pall veteran Jim Western, who has elected to retire, effective this October 31st. Mr. Northfield will be based in New Port Richey, Florida.
