Fluid Power Laboratory Grants

The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation awards grants of up to $25,000 to
2-year technical schools to help establish and sustain state-of-the-art fluid power trainers and teaching laboratories. Each lab can be used to educate hundreds of future fluid power technicians and engineers. These grants are focused on projects that include both hydraulic and pneumatic instruction, engage students in the development and construction of the training devices, and allow for large multiplier effects in the creation of new projects and curricula.

Our next funding cycle will begin in February 2017, with an application deadline of April 30, 2017.

Contact Carrie Tatman Schwartz at (414) 778-3347 or ctschwartz@nfpa.com with any questions.

To date, 11 laboratory grants have been given to 11 schools, including two universities, who were previously eligible to receive funding under this program.
