  • Audit and Investment Committee

Committee Mission

The Audit and Investment Committee develops audit procedures and policies. It conducts an annual audit of NFPA’s accounting and financial management operations on behalf of the membership, and develops investment policies and procedures for the Association’s working funds and reserves. It meets at least twice each year via conference call.

Committee Mission

The Effective Forum and Business Intelligence Strategic Task Force helps the Board set strategy and determine success metrics for strategic initiatives focused on providing an effective forum for fluid power manufacturers, distributors and suppliers to advance their collective interests. The task force also helps the Board set strategy and determine success metrics for strategic initiatives focused on providing NFPA members with timely and accurate industry statistics and business intelligence that support improved decision-making.

Committee Mission

As defined in the 2023 NFPA Technology Roadmap, there are many machine-level technology trends that are actively shaping the future of the fluid power industry. These trends include the increasing electrification, connectivity, and autonomous functionality of both the mobile and industrial machines that use fluid power in their power or control systems. NFPA launched this task force to better understand these trends, and to engage stakeholders across the supply chain in the development of the resources and connections that will be needed to keep fluid power positioned at an actuation technology of choice on mobile platforms.
