A community of established and advancing leaders working together to create the future of the fluid power industry.
Members of the NFPA Leadership Network connect with like-minded individuals across the fluid power industry who seek both professional growth and opportunities to shape the future of our industry. The Network hosts events, thought-provoking seminars, and strategy sessions to help members develop their own leadership skills, their personal network, and their impact on the fluid power industry.
NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference - the meeting is focused on networking and opportunities to engage in the leadership committees, task forces and strategy work of the NFPA
NFPA Annual Conference - the meeting is focused on professional education and development, and includes networking and social activities .
Membership in the NFPA Leadership Network is open to all NFPA member companies. Each member company should proactively identify the individual(s) who will participate in the Network, and care should be given to ensure that they are either established leaders with knowledge to share or emerging leaders that will receive the company support needed to attend Network events and engage in NFPA leadership activities.
The NFPA Leadership Network is led by a chair and vice chair, each serving a two-year term, and each appointed by the NFPA Executive Committee. Working in collaboration with NFPA staff, this leadership team helps plan for Network events, and engages directly in the leadership activities of the NFPA Board. Members of the NFPA Leadership Network who are looking to further develop their leadership skills through executive education are encouraged to participate in NFPA’s Executive Leadership Program. Presented in collaboration with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, this in-depth and interactive program combines in-person and virtual learning sessions over two full years to help emerging leaders in the fluid power industry develop their network and advance their management and leadership skills through tailored content presented by Kellogg faculty and curated interactions program participants.
