Since 1960, the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) has provided an objective, third-party assessment of skill levels and knowledge for thousands of fluid power professionals, making it the industry standard for the fluid power and motion control industries.
The success of the Fluid Power industry is not in its hardware, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses – but rather the success is through the efforts of our dedicated individuals - innovators, researchers, application engineers, educators, as well as sales and service personnel. These people are the reason that our industry continues to thrive.
A special award has been established to acknowledge those individuals who have dedicated their careers and have made significant contributions to fluid power technology.
Each year, the Fluid Power Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose passion, innovation, and dedication have left a lasting impact on the fluid power industry. These distinguished professionals have shaped the future of hydraulics and pneumatics through their leadership, research, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to advancing our industry.
On Fluid Power Professionals' Day (June 19th), IFPS announced that Jerome B. Komendera and Dr. Andrea Vacca were selected by a panel of judges to be inducted into the 2025 Fluid Power Hall of Fame. Learn more about this year's inductees below:
