Ben Brown

Industry Promotion and Standards Development Manager, National Fluid Power Association

Ben Brown joined the NFPA on May 20th as the new Industry Promotion and Standards Development Manager.

He will be responsible for the NFPA’s Fluid Power Forum podcast, and industry promotional presence via digital marketing platforms, as well as the technical content delivery program. Additionally, Ben will be taking the lead on standards development, acting as committee manager to ISO Technical Committee 131, with all the associated subcommittees and working groups, plus the staff liaison to the U.S. Technical Advisory Groups.

With a background in both pharmaceutical research and politics/governance, Ben brings a unique blend of experiences suited to synergize these responsibilities to connect our member companies to more business opportunities, as well as increasing their power and influence for international standard development.
