Erin Bauer joined the NFPA on September 23rd as the new Industry Program Manager, combing years of experience in both corporate and nonprofit sectors.
In support of NFPA’s Workforce Development initiatives, Erin leads efforts to scale, support, and sustain a stack of community-based education programs that connect career opportunities within the industry and benefits member organizations such as the Fast Track to Fluid Power, Fluid Power Action Challenge, and Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge. In addition, Erin will lead strategic planning and development efforts for on-going technical program content delivery for virtual and on-site events, publications, task force discussions, and collaborative member opportunities.
With an extensive background in cross-functional operations, project management, digital marketing, production, content development, leadership, and sustainability, Erin brings a unique blend of experience suited to address key challenges in the modern era for both workforce development and organizational excellence best practices. Outside of NFPA, Erin is a remote, part-time instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in Geopolitical Systems in Sustainability, a board member of B Local Wisconsin, and committee member and frequent speaker at the Sustainable Business Council of Wisconsin. A former sailor (racing on Lake Michigan for fifteen seasons), avid international traveler, history buff, and marketing volunteer for Milwaukee Irish Fest (the world’s largest Irish music festival), Erin enjoys reading, the outdoors, and a variety of adventures with family and friends both near and far.
