SUNY Poly - Student Recruitment Event

The State University of New York Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) located in Utica, NY, has been recognized as NFPA’s latest Power Partner University. The Power Partner Program showcases universities that actively participate in all NFPA fluid power educational programs and provides targeted fluid power courses.
To officially launch SUNY Poly as our next Power Partner, we’re excited to invite NFPA member companies to participate in our inaugural recruitment event on campus on November 4th from 11:00AM - 2:00PM Eastern Time.
This exclusive event will feature a career fair, followed by a casual luncheon and networking roundtable, offering valuable face time with engineering students interested in fluid power. Approximately 75 students are expected to attend, including members of the SUNY Poly Fluid Power Club and the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge team. We encourage each participating company to bring up to two representatives, ideally one from HR and one with a technical engineering background.

SUNY Poly specializes in their Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering degree programs, and are actively developing additional fluid power curriculum to better ensure their student populations have access to fluid power-specific education. We are excited to begin building connections with SUNY Poly and NFPA member companies.
