We’re excited to share a new onboarding video from Dr. Luis Rodriguez, Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). As an NFPA Power Partner, MSOE offers a career-focused fluid power curriculum that blends rigorous academics with hands-on experiences.

Dr. Rodriguez explains how students start with foundational courses in sensors and data acquisition before advancing to immersive lab work in the motion control lab—where they tackle real-world challenges using industry-grade fluid power systems. With opportunities like a dedicated co-op program and engaging research projects, MSOE equips students with the technical skills and industry connections needed for success.
