Success Stories: Bridging Students to Careers in Fluid Power Industry

Written by Mary Pluta | Dec 9, '25

NFPA’s Workforce programs provide a pathway for technical college and university students to find internships, co-ops, and full-time positions in the fluid power industry. We love hearing stories, like the one below, of young people who have found their place in our industry.

Do you have stories to share? Have you hired someone you met through an NFPA program? Let us know so we can celebrate their success.

Ben is an excellent example of how participation in our programs provide both technical and soft skills that are assets to employers. We know a lot of young engineers like Ben and we hope you will get involved in our programs and meet them. Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Add your company’s name to our Companies in the Industry page on our website. We direct students in all our programs to this site to learn more about our member companies.
  • Speak to a class at a technical college or university

*While this opportunity is normally reserved for Pascal Society donors, all NFPA members are invited to judge the Midway Reviews in December and January (virtual) to learn more about the program and one of the many benefits and opportunities associated with becoming a Pascal Society donor.

Find out if your company is already a donor here, and contact the Workforce Team at workforce@nfpa.com to share news of your hires and to get involved.
