10 Years of Innovation: Celebrating the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge
This year’s Annual Conference marks a major milestone: 10 years of the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge. Over the past decade, this hands-on engineering competition has inspired university students to design and build innovative fluid power–driven vehicles while connecting them directly to NFPA members and career opportunities. It’s a powerful example of how education and industry partnership drive progress.
To honor this achievement and continue fueling our mission, we’re revving up the excitement with two fundraising events that give attendees a chance to celebrate, compete, and make a difference. Your participation directly supports the Foundation’s workforce programs, including scholarships, classroom initiatives, and the Vehicle Challenge itself.
NFPA Foundation Golf Fundraiser
A fan favorite returns. This year’s tournament takes place off-site at the stunning TPC Louisiana,
part of the prestigious Audubon Golf Trail.
Stretching across 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River Delta, this championship course offers breathtaking views and world-class conditions, often compared to a private nature reserve. Transportation will be provided to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

NFPA Foundation Throttle and Swing Event
Hit the track or grab a putter for fun and friendly competition. Choose between an adrenaline-filled karting experience on one of the country’s most dynamic circuits or enjoy 18 holes of mini-golf on a brand-new course designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re
racing, putting, or cheering from the sidelines, your involvement helps accelerate the future of fluid power talent.
