Data from Q1 2025 has been updated in NFPA’s U.S. Foreign Trade of Fluid Power report. This report tracks value of U.S. imports and exports filtered by fluid power products. Total U.S. fluid power product imports continued to decline while total U.S. fluid power product exports increased in Q1 2025 when graphed on a 12-month moving average (12mma). U.S. imports remain well above U.S. exports with April 2025 having a trade balance of -$296 million (exports – imports, graphed on a 12mma).
