Fluid Power Day at Northampton Community College (NCC)

Northampton Community College (NCC), NFPA’s newest Fast Track Hub, will host a Discover Fluid Power Day on Friday, January 16, 2026, at its Bethlehem, Pennsylvania campus. This immersive, day-long field trip is designed to introduce eighty STEM-focused students from two local high schools to careers in fluid power, automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
Students will spend the day exploring NCC’s state-of-the-art labs, learning about academic pathways in high-demand technical fields, and connecting directly with faculty, NFPA members, and industry professionals. The program will also highlight NFPA scholarships and resources that support students as they pursue education and careers in fluid power-related industries.
Discover Fluid Power Day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET and includes guided lab tours, career exploration sessions, networking opportunities, and lunch. A key feature of the day is a brief panel discussion where NFPA member companies can share real-world insights, career stories, and advice with students considering technical and manufacturing career paths.
NFPA is currently seeking three member companies to participate in the event panel and engage directly with students throughout the day. This is a valuable opportunity to build early connections with future talent, raise awareness of your organization, and support workforce development efforts in the region.
