Kennesaw State University Launches First Event as New Power Partner

NFPA recently welcomed Kennesaw State University (KSU) in Marietta, Georgia, as its newest Power Partner University, celebrating the milestone with a first-time industry engagement event on campus. The designation reflects KSU’s dedication to advancing fluid power education, demonstrated through its active involvement in programs such as the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge, the Fluid Power Club, and the Speakers Bureau.

The February 26 event brought together students and representatives from Anfield Industries, IFP Motion Solutions, and SunSource. Eachb6d59049-004e-43e0-9270-ee408c9938a5 company offered an overview of their organizations as well as advice on entering the fluid power industry. The event also created space for direct collaboration, as members of KSU’s Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge team connected with IFP Motion Solutions to discuss their project’s development.

With 35 students in attendance from various engineering disciplines, the event fostered meaningful conversations and industry exposure. Students walked away with a clearer understanding of career pathways, while NFPA members valued the opportunity to engage with emerging talent and build stronger university relationships.
