Purdue University Student Recruitment Event

NFPA members are invited to attend a Student Recruitment Event happening on September 9th, between 10:45 am and 12:30 pm. This recruitment event is an opportunity for your company to engage with Purdue Engineering and Technology students at large, as well as student presenters from other institutions attending the 2026 International Maha Fluid Power Conference.
The goal of the event is to provide a space for companies and students to casually interact with each other, and for both students and recruiters to be professionally matched to each other.
As a registered company, you will attend the Student Recruiting Event with an assigned table with seating arrangements for two people for the company that you represent. We encourage each company to bring both a human resources representative, as well as an engineer. We estimate there will be more than 100 student participants. These students will pre-register before the event by submitting their resume, and their resumes will be made available to all companies participating in the recruiting event.
The student recruiting event is an event occurring concurrently with the technical conference program and the Industry Expo at the 2026 International Maha Fluid Power Conference. This Student Recruitment Event is open to NFPA member companies participating as exhibitors, registered conference participants, Maha industry members or conference sponsors, at no additional cost.
Moreover, Maha Industry members, conference sponsors or registered Expo presenters and NFPA members, may have access to a separate space for conducting interviews in case you have found a suitable candidate for any position/s you may have available. Alternatively, companies are free to interview candidates at their Expo spaces. Preference will be given to NFPA member companies.
Please register your company to the Student Recruitment Event by providing the name of the contact person, their position, company affiliation, email and phone number to Dr. Jose Garcia-Bravo at jmgarcia@purdue.edu.
Registration to the Student Recruitment Event will be open until August 30th, 2026, or until the maximum number of spots assigned is filled.
