The NFPA recently hosted a student outreach & recruitment event at Purdue University, one of our 13 designated Power Partner Universities. The event reinforced NFPA’s commitment to connecting member companies with emerging talent and strengthening industry–academic partnerships.
A unique aspect of the September 9th event was its co-location with the 2026 International Maha Fluid Power Conference. It took place concurrently with the technical conference program and the Industry Expo. Through a career-fair style networking session, members shared how their organizations contribute to the fluid power industry and highlighted career opportunities available to interested students.
NFPA members Applied Industrial Technologies, Auburn Gear, Caterpillar, Danfoss, Husco, Parker Hannifin, and Sun Hydraulics connected with nearly 100 students from Purdue University, and other institutions attending the Maha Conference!
