Recent updates to the NFPA’s U.S. Foreign Trade of Fluid Power report reveal that the total value of U.S. imports and exports for fluid power products appears to have been slowly growing throughout 2025, as shown by the 12-month moving average (12mma). In August 2025, the U.S. trade balance for these products was -$295 million (exports minus imports), marking a 20% decrease compared to July. So far this year, March recorded the highest export value at $751 million, while July saw the largest import value at $1 billion.
