NFPA’s Fast Track to Fluid Power initiative is a workforce development pathway that partners local 2-year colleges with industry professionals and high school educators. These networks create awareness and interest in fluid power and train students along a path from middle school to college that leads to careers in fluid power at NFPA member companies.
There are now seven of these Fast Track Hubs operating and in each region. We plan middle school, high school, and college level programs and activities to help create connections that lead to careers. We've gathered upcoming outreach and recruitment opportunities in one place so you can plan ahead, involve your team, and build workforce engagement into your company calendar.
Click through to learn more and access the calendar of events in each region:
-
Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland
-
Hennepin Technical College in Minnesota
-
Houston City College in Texas
-
Macomb Community College in suburban Detroit
-
Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania
-
Triton College in suburban Chicago
The best way to get the most up-to-date information about events and activities in each hub is by joining the Workforce Engagement Group. This is the method we use to disseminate timely and relevant information, events, and activities specific to each one of these regions. To maximize your member benefit, we encourage you to sign up your staff that would benefit from recruiting or building your company’s awareness in these states.
