Sept 8 — Ohio Workforce Engagement Group (Virtual 9:30AM CT)

At the Ohio Workforce Engagement Group (WEG) meeting, you’ll hear the latest on NFPA’s workforce initiatives and get an inside look at updates from Cuyahoga Community College. A highlight of the session will be a presentation from Tri-C’s Business & Industry Partnerships Department, showcasing how employers are successfully hiring students, building apprenticeships, and creating earn-and-learn opportunities that strengthen the fluid power talent pipeline.

Sept 15 — NFPA Mobile Technology Task Force Webinar (9:00AM CT)

A key element of the NFPA Technology Roadmap for mobile equipment is the trend toward electrification. Over the past year, the Pace of Technology Adoption work group designed and conducted a survey of members and OEM’s to assess the pace of electrification for various types of construction machinery, in terms of drivetrain, propulsion, and actuation of work function. This webinar will be used to present the results of that survey and discuss potential efforts to conduct similar surveys for other types of mobile machinery.
